Altitude Volleyball will be having girls team tryouts for an indoor 14U-TLS* Volleyball Rep Team!

There will be 2 tryouts for this team.

TRYOUT DATES

First Tryout Date: Friday September 8th, 5:00-6:30

Location: Sunset Point Beach Volleyball Courts

Second Tryout Date: September 14, 2023, ~6:00 (exact time to be finalized after first tryout)

Location: New Life Church Gym, 28 Tracey Ln, Collingwood,

Offers on making the team will be emailed to athletes on or after September 22, 2023.

(yes! the first tryout will be outdoors for an indoor team! We will be making the most of the beautiful September weather. It's okay if you haven't played beach volleyball before, we will be focusing on the fundamentals of volleyball which are universal to indoor and beach)

Practice Dates

Monday and/or Fridays 7:00-9:00 (Oct - April)

What is TLS??

*Traditional Limited Specialized

In general TLS is 14U age group with modifications to game play at the beginning of the season to focus on growth and development for the stage of play.

Age Groups

Athletes born September 1, 2009 - December 31st, 2010*

*Anyone born between January 1st-August 31st, 2009 are eligible for the TLS division through an application process.

General Rep Team Information

The Altitude Volleyball Indoor Team will play in 3-5 tournaments over the volleyball season as well as practicing once to twice per week. Please note that this is a competitive team and a level of commitment will be required from the athletes.

Practice and Tournament Dates

Tournament dates are to be determined.

Please Note:  For the 2023-24 season, athletes are required to register as a tryout player with the OVA (free membership) in order to tryout with their Clubs.  Athletes will subsequently be required to upgrade to a full competitive player membership ($91.76) prior to competing in any OVA delivered event

All OVA membership, tournament, and event registrations are completed online through the Member Registration System (MRS)*. Please register after September 1st, which is the start of the new OVA Season.
